Job Duties

• Will train- no experience
• Ability to work on your own
• Leadership skills in a supervisory capacity an asset
• Maintenance work- minor repairs, oil changes
• Install shade cloth and remove
• Install / remove frost cloth at frost warnings
• Use of powered tractors, buggies, power tools and hand tools
• Weeding crops, fork straw when spread
• Installation and maintaining of irrigation and sprinkler system
• Harvesting, washing and packaging
• Seed preparation

Experience Requirement

• Tractor, forklift experience an asset but not required
• Some heavy lifting
• Proper footwear is required

Salary and Hour Details

• Full-time hours a week, mostly Monday – Friday, odd weekends during critical times
• Wage dependent on skills and experience (determined after grace period)
