London Tire Sales, located in Strathroy, is looking for a Full-Time Driver to join their team! Immediate openings available! 

In order to perform this role, a G license and excellent driving record with the willingness to drive to London and area are required.

Duties

• Pick up and deliver tires throughout Strathroy, London and surrounding area (could develop into larger area over time)
• Load and unload goods, primarily tires
• Plan travel routes and schedules using maps and other navigational equipment
• Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle and maintain vehicle in good condition
• Record road trip information such as mileage
• Communicate with customers to relay information and help resolve issue
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Qualifications 

•  Must have a valid G driver’s license with an excellent driving record
• Must have the ability to read documents including customer orders and mapping / scheduling information
• Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor as there is a great deal of customer interaction
• Must be able to lift over 50lbs
• Excellent communication skills are required

The following essential skills are necessary:  Reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, sense of direction, working with others, problem solving, decision making, job task planning, significant use of memory, finding information.

Hours: Monday – Friday, typically 8 am – 5 pm

Wage: dependent on experience
