EMPLOYERS — WOULD YOU LIKE TO GIVE SOMEONE AN OPPORTUNITY IN THE TRADES?

Would you like to hire a new Entry Level 1 apprentice and would you like the financial support to proceed and to give someone an opportunity in the trades? If you do, then you are going to want to attend this free employer breakfast where you will learn how you could potentially receive significant funding to help you provide someone a great opportunity to gain experience in their trade.

This information session is being held at Community Employment Choices on Thursday, May 18th from 8 am – 10 am. A delicious breakfast will be available and you will hear from Stephanie Shrum, Program Manager for the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum while you learn about the great funding opportunities that may be available to you.

**THURSDAY FEBRUARY 9 – THE CLEAN THUMB JOB FAIR AT CEC**

The Clean Thumb is having an IN-PERSON JOB FAIR at Community Employment Choices on Thursday, February 9th from 10:00AM to 2:00PM.

Those interested in a career as a residential cleaning services are encouraged to drop-in with a resume, and be prepared to interview on the spot!

Are you starting 2023 ready to take action in your career goals? If you are a youth between ages 15-29, not working or in school, let us help you! Community Employment Choices is happy to be running another Youth Job Connection session.

DECEMBER 13 – STUDENTS TODAY, EMPLOYEES TOMORROW: INVESTING IN CO-OPERATIVE EDUCATION

Together with its workforce development partners, Middlesex County’s department of Economic Development and Tourism is launching an innovative new program that is aiming to help bridge labour gaps by liaising local employers and schools to bolster co-operative education and work integrated learning opportunities for area youth.

Join us to learn about how co-operative education opportunities provide hands-on experience to today’s students evolving them into tomorrow’s employees, and the resources that are available to help facilitate the future of work integrated learning at the fingertips of employers, teachers and students alike.

It’s a win-win for everyone.
