Community Employment Choices is excited to launch our newsletter!
The goal? To keep residents of Middlesex County informed and connected to local programs, services, and supports…available at no cost through Employment Ontario. We hope to use monthly newsletters as a channel to share what our team has up our sleeve for the coming month, including programming, services, events, job fairs, and general news about job opportunities in Middlesex County.
Whether you are a job seeker, employer, community partner, or seeking more information about what we do and the ways we can help, we look forward to engaging with you!
Are you starting 2023 ready to take action in your career goals? If you are a youth between ages 15-29, not working or in school, let us help you! Community Employment Choices is happy to be running another Youth Job Connection session.
The start of the session begins on Tuesday, January 10th, 2023. Get in touch with CEC today!
Community Employment Choices is pleased to be collecting donations of new socks, hats, gloves, and mittens along with all of the Middlesex County Library locations. Donations will be shared to those in need across Middlesex County.
Drop-in during our business hours, Monday to Friday from 9am-4:30pm, to contribute.
Together with its workforce development partners, Middlesex County’s department of Economic Development and Tourism is launching an innovative new program that is aiming to help bridge labour gaps by liaising local employers and schools to bolster co-operative education and work integrated learning opportunities for area youth.
Join us to learn about how co-operative education opportunities provide hands-on experience to today’s students evolving them into tomorrow’s employees, and the resources that are available to help facilitate the future of work integrated learning at the fingertips of employers, teachers and students alike.
Are you interested in becoming a Caregiver but need more information? Are you someone who wants to help but don’t have qualifications? (YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A PSW TO BE A CAREGIVER)
If this sounds like you then this information session will help you decide if becoming a Caregiver is for you. Join Home Instead’s Crystal Hooey as she discusses being a caregiver and will take questions following her presentation…
When: Thursday, December 1st, 1:30 – 2:30pm Where: Community Employment Choices, 16B Second Street, Strathroy Ontario
