Conflict Management Skills for the WorkplaceSep 14, 2017 • 9:30 am-12:30 pm
– Conflict is a reality of life; people have different perspectives and simply won’t always agree on things. It isn’t being in conflict that is the challenge; it’s how we deal with it. Most of us don\'t give a lot of thought to how we approach conflict; we just react instinctively. But acting on instinct may not be the right solution – we may end up escalating rather than resolving our differences. In this workshop you’ll learn about five distinct conflict management styles, assess your own style and learn when to use each style to get results at work that enhance relationships and productivity, rather than closing off effective teamwork.
