Spray-Net in Strathroy is hiring for 3 roles – Sprayer/Team Lead, Assistant Painter/ Field Technician, and Masker. 

Sprayer/Team Lead

• Make sure everyone knows the plan for each day’s work
• Keeping the crew together, getting one side of the home completely ready to spray before moving on the next.
• Setting up the pump, boxing (or mixing) the paint, cleaning out the pump
• Caulking around windows, doors, and open gaps as needed
• Making sure each area is properly masked and covered before he begins spraying each side of the house
• Shielding the roof from overspray and spraying the house
• Answering the homeowners questions when you aren’t there
• Keeping track of all the crew members’ hours
• Looking over the job for needed touchups
• Give the property a final look over after the van is loaded. This includes having the yard picked up, the sidewalks and driveways swept off and the windows cleaned.

Assistant Painter/ Field Technician

• Assist painter in production
• Surface preparation
• Taping, sanding, minor repairs
• Tool and equipment maintenance
• Job-site clean up
• Abide by Spray-Net production standards
• Customer relations

Masker 

• Unload the work van and set the ladders against house
• Remove the shutters and set them up to spray
• Hook up the garden hose to the owner’s water supply
• Cover roofs, decks, shrubs, etc…
• Tear off masking paper and remove coverings from the house
• Install shutters after painting and clean all window glass
• Look the siding over for any light spots and needed touchups
• Clean spray shields so the Sprayer can keep working
• Pick up the yard; sweep the sidewalks and driveway, load up the van
• Keep you informed of any supplies needed before they run out such as tape, paper, caulk, etc.

Qualifications for ALL Positions

• Language: English
• Valid driver’s license and or vehicle
• Strong attention to detail
• Independent & self-motivated
• Organization skills
• Strong time management & communication skills
• Flexible working hours
• Ability to work at heights (You will be required to attain your Working From Heights Certificate)
• Work boots or work shoes are mandatory
• Work pants must be navy or black
• Ability to lift and move ladders
