Little Beaver Restaurant

Little Beaver Restaurant in Komoka is looking for a Line Cook to join their team. Full-Time or Part-Time position available. 

Duties

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare food for service (chopping vegetables, preparing meat, preparing sauces)
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the Kitchen Staff
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition protocol, sanitation regulations, and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Food Handling Certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook, Restaurant Cook, or Prep Cook preferred
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiar with industry’s best practices
  • Highly motivated to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
