Garden Techniques Inc. in London is looking for a General Labourer/Horticultural Technician to join their team. 

Expected start date: 2022-03-16 (Weather permitting)

Duties

• Load and unload materials, tools and equipment
• Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, lifting, carrying, etc
• Tasks will include, planting, maintenance, mulching, mowing, moving/placing hardscape materials, fencing etc

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs at times. Work is repetitive throughout the day. Strong back required
• Work is outdoors in various weather conditions, including cold, rain, heat, humidity and snow
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Previous Landscape experience would be an asset
• Valid drivers’ license required. We are not on a bus route.
• Hardscape experience would be an asset.

Hours: Monday to Friday, up to 10 hours per day. The odd Saturday may be required.

Wage: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience and ability
