Location: Whitehills Oxbow Public School location in Ilderton

Contract: September to June (summer hours may be available)

Duties

• Educators plan and implement inquiry and play-based programs for school-age children in a team-focused environment that provides ongoing opportunities for learning and growth.

Qualifications

• RECE/apprentices or other relevant experience and training involving children may be considered for this position.
• Other requirements: Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
• All candidates must also have current First Aid and CPR training and a Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)

Hours: 7:15-9:15 Monday to Friday (additional hours may be available in childcare)

This position works for the school year calendar, including PA days and holidays. Summer hours may be available if interested. Additional hours may also be available to work in between at one of our 3 childcare locations, and permanency may be considered for RECEs/apprentice candidates if a minimum of 25hrs per week is offered/available.

Wages: RECEs starting wage is $22.82, including an annual wage increase through the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Workforce compensation (AWI) and $2/hour provided through a government wage enhancement grant. (WEG) All other qualifications vary in wages and are based on credentials and experience.
