The Bayley Group

The Bayley Group (BG) is one of Canada’s leading event management companies and we are located in the heart of Huron County. We are seeking a full-time bookkeeper.

We work with multiple clients on their conference programs which includes financial management of each project, plus finances for our company overall.

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements.
  • Process accounts receivable/payable, handle payroll, government remittances, monthly reconciliation.
  • Track cash-flow statements.
  • Monitor and record revenue, expenses and budgets for multiple projects.
  • Reconciling with internal software and bank statements.


  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Familiar with credit card merchant accounts and payment gateways.
  • Familiar with Sage (Simply) accounting program and MS Office.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage data and financial records.
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be highly organized and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to stay on task and meet deadlines.

Full-time / 4 days per week. Salary will be competitive.
